About Us
Possum Hollow Sportsmen's Club is a non-profit organization that was first
established in 1956 as a small one room club located in Wampum,
Pennsylvania on just 18 acres of property. We now boast almost 50 acres of
property that our club members and guests alike enjoy the use of for activities
such as our in-door archery shooting, our out-door 3-d archery course and the
out-door muzzleloader course, the rifle and pistol range and the trap house.
We also have access to over 100 acres of public game lands (#146) which are
located right next door.

With numerous improvements made to the buildings in recent years, one of
the largest improvements being the 40' x 120' in-door archery range that was
added in 2002, we have even more space for club activities such as shooting
events and banquets.

In 2006 we received a grant from the N.R.A. that will help enable us to make
updates to our trap house and we also received a grant from the N.R.A. to help
us start our "Youth Rifle Program" in which we are teaching the younger
generation that proper firearm safety and proper shooting can be fun.

Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our members in 2006 we were
finally in a position to be able to give back to our community by way of a
monetary donation to Clinton United Methodist Church, our local church, to
help feed those less fortunate at the holidays and by the gift of a crossbow to
a young man who is stricken with cancer.

It is Possum Hollow Sportsmen's Club's wish to continue to provide adults and
youth alike, whether they be avid sportsmen or inexperienced newcomers to
the shooting sports, continued enjoyment of our facility for many years to
come.

With that in mind, please feel free to visit us to see what has captured the
interest of some of our most loyal members, some of whom have been with us
for well over 25 years.
